Acetylacetone is commonly used as a solvent and as an intermediate in various industries, including animal drugs, additives for automobiles and lubricating oils, fungicides and insecticides, etc. Used in the materials for producing sulphonamide. Also used as solvent of cellulose acetate, additive of gasoline and lubricant, dryer of paint and varnish.
